Stage 2 - Foum Zguid - Zagora
Monday 7 November 2022 – Foum Zguid - Zagora
"Today's adventure will be 100% desert in sumptuous scenery, on rolling tracks in the morning, then off-road in Erg Chegaga, you will discover the true immensity of the desert - you will have to concentrate on navigation."
Departure from the hotel at : 8h30
We leave the hotel for a short liaison and a first ZR on a fast track which ends on a military post. We are not far from the border with Algeria and our Moroccan friends guard it firmly. The rest of the morning will make you discover the enchantment of Lake Iriki where the mirages will make you believe that there is still water. Then a sandy track will lead you to the foot of the dunes.
Lunch will be taken at the foot of the dunes.
In the afternoon the experts will go for a ride in the dunes to enjoy the crossings. Beginners will be given a course in driving in the sand and crossing the dunes.
Then it's on to sport with a ZR on the track to Zagora. Hotel Sirocco.
