Programm: The hiking formula that pleases!
After Provence and Périgord, the time has come to discover the island of 10,000 bends, a land of rallies if ever there was one: Corsica. Following in the footsteps of the Tour de Corse, at the wheel of your old or modern sports car, you will discover the Isle of Beauty and its most beautiful small roads with the scent of myrtle winding through the heart of the maquis, according to a detailed road book.
Driving, gastronomy and discovery of unmissable sites: the programme offers you a total change of scenery in a relaxed atmosphere. The meeting point is set in Toulon on Saturday evening, October 1st, for a crossing with Corsica Ferry to Bastia. This will be followed by a first stage of 260 km which will take you to Ajaccio where the accommodation for the next 3 nights will be at the Hotel Campo dell'Oro (4*).
The 3rd of October will be dedicated to a very mountainous stage towards the centre of the island. The next day the route will take you to Bonifacio for a typical lunch and a sea walk around the famous cliffs.
This Corsican Escape will also be the occasion to see the caravan of the Tour de Corse Historic. The 5th of October will be dedicated to the ride back to Bastia by the sea. Before lunch in Calvi, you will discover the famous special stage of Notre Dame de la Serra. The tour will end with a visit to the Pietra Distillery, a famous Corsican beer, for a tasting session before embarking on the mainland.
PROGRAMM :
Saturday 1 October 2022: Departure from Toulon by the Corsica Ferry. Dinner on board and night in luxury cabin.
Sunday 2 October 2022: Arrival in Bastia around 7:00 am and drive to Corté for lunch. 250 km of winding roads to reach the Ajaccio stage and the Hotel 4*, where you will put down your luggage for 3 days.
Monday 3 October 2022: Loop on the tracks of the Tour de Corse special stages - Lunch in Bonifaccio, then return to Ajaccio.
Tuesday 4 October 2022: A more mountainous stage that will take you to the heart of the island, with lunch again in Corté; In the afternoon, return to Ajaccio with a stop in a special stage of the Tour de Corse Historic to see the competitors pass.
Wednesday 5 October 2022: Drive back to Bastia along the seaside roads, lunch in Calvi. Afternoon drive to Bastia - Visit of the Pietra distillery - then boarding at 7pm on the boat that will take you back to the mainland. Dinet and night on board.
Thursday 6 October 2022: Landing in Toulon early in the morning. End of the tour.

Everything will be included in the registration fee of € 2,700 which will include for 2 people:
Boat round trip from Toulon - hotels - lunches - dinners - visits - insurance - general organisation
4 days and 4 loops to discover this enchanting island.
Options 2 singles instead 1 twin: 300 €
Payment: Due to the long lead time, a deposit of €1000 is required at registration - the balance is due in April and will be indicated on your note.
RETURN BY BOAT: Several of you have asked us to postpone your return by boat in order to finish the week on the Ile de Beauté. So, yes, it will be possible provided that you inform us now of your return date when you register. You will be able to choose to stay at our hotel and pay directly or to take another establishment.
