Stage 7: Go back to Marrakech

DAY 8 - STAGE 7:  Wednesday 21 October 2026 :

RETURN TO MARRAKECH PROGRAMME:

After breakfast, the 17th TransMaroc will be over!

Don't leave your room too late, as you'll need to head back up to Marrakech!

The best route is to take the stunning Kasbahs road, which follows the Asif Ounila river, passing through Telouet, then join the Tichka Pass road towards Marrakech – allow three hours' driving time without stopping.

This road is so beautiful that you will want to take photos all the time, especially at the top of the first major pass, where there is a sign on the left indicating an exceptional viewpoint, which is indeed true. Allow at least 3½ hours. The approach to Marrakech can sometimes be a little congested with traffic.

Remember that rental vehicles must be returned to Marrakech in the afternoon. Please plan accordingly.

Lunch and hotel are not included in Marrakech.

Please check your return flight times carefully, unless you are extending your stay in Marrakech.

Some travellers will have a long journey home (Tangier is 900 km from Marrakech).
