Stage 1: Marrakech - Foum Zguid

DAY 2 - STAGE 1:  Thursday 15 October 2026 :

Departing from Domaine Terres d'Amanar, where TransMaroc 2017 began, you will head towards the Agafay Desert and Lake Lalla Takerkoust, crossing the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi'nTest Pass, which rises to an altitude of 2,300 metres. - Lunch stop in Talouine, the capital of saffron cultivation.

In the afternoon, new scenery for the ZRs will take you on a dizzying descent to an unlikely oasis.
After a short drive, more ZRs on a fast track will end at the gates of Foum Zguid, the last oasis before the desert expanses of southern Morocco, to reach our evening stop at the Bab Rimal Hotel.
