Stage 0: Welcome to Marrakech

DAY 1 - STAGE 0:  WELCOME Wednesday 14 October 2026:

"Located at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, Marrakech, the ‘red city’, is an imperial city. In addition to the imposing beauty of its high adobe walls, its mosques and souks have made it the capital of Moroccan tourism, and you may want to extend your stay there for the weekend following our trip."

MEETING POINT at the TERRES D'AMANAR estate in Tahanaout

For those arriving with their own 4x4, you must arrive at the hotel before 2:00 pm so that our team can check your car and set up your Tripy GPS.
For those arriving by plane via Françoise, your rental 4x4 will be provided by the rental company, then you will drive 30 km to the Terres d'Amanar hotel in Tahanaout, south of Marrakech.

Located at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains, just 30 minutes from Marrakech, Les Terres d'Amanar is nestled within the 100,000 hectares of Toubkal National Park. At an altitude of 1,200 metres, this ecolodge is fully integrated into the landscape and Berber culture. In perfect harmony with the environment, the estate promotes sustainable architecture and favours openness to the outside world. Terres d'Amanar is a natural energy reserve, offering a wide range of activities for young and old alike:  sports, cultural activities or simply wellness breaks. It is a unique site, inviting you to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Accommodation is available in lodges and tent lodges, combining comfort and natural materials. The site offers exceptional views of the villages and mountain peaks.

Day programme:

- 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Training course for those who wish to attend
- From 2:00 p.m.: Installation of Tripy GPS devices on the vehicles present
- 6:00 p.m.: 1st information briefing, distribution of documents necessary for the event and explanations about TRIPY.
- 7:30 p.m.: Welcome drinks
- 8:30 p.m.: Dinner and overnight stay at the Terres d'Amanar hotel
